James stars as a NASCAR crew chief for the fictional Bobby Spencer Racing team. When the owner steps down and passes the team off to his daughter Catherine, James has to protect himself and his crew from her attempts to modernize the team.
In addition to James, the comedy stars Freddie Stroma, Jillian Mueller, Sarah Stiles, Gary Anthony Williams and Dan Ahdoot.
Bruce McGill (Rizzoli & Isles) and Paris Berelc (Alexa & Katie) will appear as guest stars.
Jeff Lowell created the comedy. He executive produces with James, Jeff Sussman, Todd Garner, Matt Summers, Tim Clark and director Andy Fickman.
