HBO Max Sets Premiere Date for New Drama 'Generation' Starring Justice Smith and Chloe East

HBO Max has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original half-hour drama series Generation.







The first three episodes of the 16-episode first season will be available on Thursday, March 11.

The dark yet playful show follows a group of high school students whose exploration of modern sexuality tests deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.

The drama stars Justice Smith, Chloe East, Uly Schlesinger, Haley Sanchez, Nava Mau, Nathanya Alexander, Lukita Maxwell, Chase Sui Wonders, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Sam Trammell and Martha Plimpton.

Recurring guest stars include Anthony Keyvan, Diego Josef, J. August Richards, John Ross Bowie, Mary Birdsong, Patricia De Leon, Sydney Mae Diaz, Alicia Coppola, Marwan Salama and Marisela Zumbado.

Zelda Barnz created the drama with her father Daniel Barnz, who also directs. They executive produce with Ben Barnz, Lena Dunham, Sharr White and John Melfi. Marissa Diaz serves as a producer. We're Not Brothers Productions and Good Thing Going Productions produce.
