HBO Max has today given series orders to three original animated comedy series - a two-season order for a reboot of Clone High, Velma from Mindy Kaling and Fired on Mars from Pete Davidson.
The modern refresh of Clone High is set at a high school for clones of historical figures.
Original series creators Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Bill Lawrence will return as writers and executive producers. Erica Rivinoja has been tapped to serve as showrunner. MTV Entertainment Studios will produce.
The original series ran for one season on MTV from 2002-03.

Mindy Kaling created the series and will voice the title character. She will executive produce with Charlie Grandy, Howard Klein and Sam Register. Warner Bros. Animation will produce.
Fired on Mars is an existential workplace comedy set on the Martian campus of a modern tech company.
Pete Davidson will voice the lead character.
Nate Sherman and Nick Vokey created the comedy. They will executive produce with Davidson, Carson Mell and Dave Sirus.
