HBO Announces Premiere Date for Limited Series 'Mare of Easttown' Starring Kate Winslet

HBO has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original limited series Mare of Easttown starring Academy Award and Emmy winner Kate Winslet.






The 7-part limited series will debut on Sunday, April 18 at 10/9c.

Mare Sheehan (Winslet) is a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as life crumbles around her. The series is an exploration into the dark side of a close community and an authentic examination of how family and past tragedies can define our present.

The cast also features Julianne Nicholson, Jean Smart, Angourie Rice, Evan Peters, Guy Pearce, Cailee Spaeny, David Denman, John Douglas Thompson, Patrick Murney, James McArdle, Sosie Bacon, Joe Tippett and Neal Huff.

Brad Ingelsby created the series, with Craig Zobel directing all seven episodes. They executive produce with Winslet, Paul Lee, Mark Roybal, Gavin O'Connor and Gordon Gray. Mayhem Pictures and wiip produce in association with HBO.
