Peacock has today given series order to two new original comedy series - an untitled series starring Craig Robinson (The Office, Brooklyn Nine-Nine). and Bust Down starring Chris Redd (Saturday Night Live, Kenan).
The untitled series starring Robinson centers on class, capitalism and one man's quest to achieve the American Dream. And also about hunting really big snakes.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici created the comedy. They will executive produce with Robinson and Mark Schulman. Universal Television will produce.
The first season will produce 10 episodes.
Bust Down stars Chris Redd, Sam Jay, Langston Kerman and Jak Knight as four casino employees in a dead-end job in middle America who attempt to find self-worth in their bad ideas.
Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer and Hilary Marx will executive produce, with Richie Keen set to direct. A showrunner will be named at a later date. Universal Television and Broadway Video will produce.
The first season will produce 6 episodes.
