Jordan Peele's 'The Twilight Zone' Won't Return for Third Season on Paramount+

Amongst a wave of programming pickups at the streaming service, CBS All Access also confirmed that the original anthology series The Twilight Zone will not return for a third season when the service is rebranded as Paramount+ next month.

"Jordan Peele, Simon Kinberg and the entire production team truly reimagined The Twilight Zone for the modern age," said Julie McNamara, Head of Programming, Paramount+. "They upheld the class series' legacy of socially conscious storytelling and pushed today's viewers to explore all new dimensions of thought-provoking and topical themes that we hope will resonate with audiences for years to come."

Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg developed the series. They also executive produced with Win Rosenfeld, Glen Morgan, Audrey Chon, Carolyn Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes. CBS Studios, Genre Films and Monkeypaw Productions produced.

The 10-episode second season was released on June 25, 2020.
