The first season - inspired by the novel The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes - depicts the story of Billy Milligan (Holland), the first person ever acquitted of a crime because of multiple personality disorder (now known as dissociative identity disorder).
Akiva Goldsman created the series. He will executive produce with Holland, Alexandra Milchan, Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer. Apple Studios, New Regency, Weed Road Productions and EMJAG Productions will produce.
