NETFLIX's BRIDGERTON
- Rupert Evans has booked a key guest role on the drama's upcoming second season. He currently stars in The CW's Charmed, which has already been renewed for a fourth season. He previously starred for three seasons in Amazon's The Man in the High Castle.
- He will play Edmund Bridgerton, a loving and devoted husband, whose true love match with Violet Bridgerton gave them eight perfect children. He's also an endlessly patient and kind father, who takes special pride in guiding his eldest son Anthony through life. Edmund's death at age 38 from an allergic reaction to a bee sting had a profound impact on Anthony, who had to take over the viscounty when he was just 18 years old.
PARAMOUNT+'s THE OFFER
- Miles Teller will play the lead role in the upcoming limited series created by Michael Tolkin and Nikki Toscano. He previously starred in the Amazon limited series Too Old to Die Young and in the Divergent film franchise. He next stars in the upcoming film Top Gun: Maverick.
- He will play Al Ruddy, the Oscar-winning producer whose never-before-revealed experiences of making the iconic 1972 film The Godfather will be explored in the series. Teller replaces Armie Hammer, who left the series following sexual assault allegations.
HBO MAX's GOSSIP GIRL
- Lyne Renée has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama reboot starring Emily Alyn Lind and Eli Brown. She currently stars in Freeform's Motherland: Fort Salem, which returns for its second season next month.
- She will play Helena Bergman, a cold as ice global real estate magnate and former top model, who is also the mother to Otto "Obie" Bergmann (Brown).
HBO MAX's PEACEMAKER
- Freddie Stroma has joined the cast of the upcoming Suicide Squad sequel series starring John Cena. He recently starred in the first season of Netflix's The Crew and recurred on the first season of Netflix's Bridgerton. He previously starred in the first season of Lifetime's UnREAL.
- He will play Adrian Chase aka Vigilante, a hand-to-hand combatant, a brilliant marksman and a master of the lariat. He was a New York City DA who sought justice in his own way as his alter ego after his wife and kids were killed by mobsters. Vigilante also has the ability to heal quickly and regenerate his body from injuries as serious as stabbings or gunshot wounds. Stroma replaces Chris Conrad in the role, who has left the cast following creative differences.
