FOX has today announced renewals for four of its original scripted series - 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star, The Resident and The Great North. The dramas join the network's upcoming 2021-22 broadcast schedule while the renewal expands the future for the animated comedy.
9-1-1 stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Rockmond Dunbar, Ryan Guzman, Corine Massiah, Marcanthonee Jon Reis, Gavin McHugh and John Harlan Kim.

Wilson exited the cast of the drama during its fourth season. Meanwhile, Chestnut will only return for the new season as a recurring guest star after he booked a lead role on FOX's upcoming drama Our Kind of People from executive producer Lee Daniels.

Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Minty Lewis created the comedy. They executive produce with Loren Bouchard. 20th Television, Fox Entertainment, Bento Box Entertainment, Wilo Productions and Double Molyneux Sister Sheux produce.
The comedy was previously renewed for its second season, which will air during the 2021-22 schedule. The renewal today is for the comedy's third season - effectively keeping the show on the air for years.
