AppleTV+ Gives Series Order to Animated Comedy 'Strange Planet' Created by Dan Harmon and Nathan Pyle

AppleTV+ has today given a series order to the original animated comedy series Strange Planet based on the graphic novels and webcomic of the same name.

The series depicts the lives of big-eyed, bright blue "beings" from a planet that shares a lot in common with Earth.

Dan Harmon (Rick & Morty, Community) developed the series with author Nathan Pyle. Amalia Levari is set as showrunner for the first season. All three will executive produce with Alex Bulkley, Corey Campodonico, Steve Levy and Taylor Alexy Pyle. Apple Studios and ShadowMachine will produce.
