- Valerie Bertinelli will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Demi Lovato. She previously starred for six seasons in TV Land's Hot in Cleveland, which was also created by the pilot's writer Suzanne Martin. She currently hosts two shows on the Food Network - Valerie's Home Cooking and Kids Baking Championship.
- She will play Lisa, Teddy's (Lovato) mother who is quick to point out they are also best friends. She is a warm, loving, self-critical and emotional mess of a woman who has lost and gained the same 30 pounds for 30 years. A restaurant owner, she is constantly thinking about and serving people food.
NBC's UNTITLED JAKE COBURN & NICK WOOTTON PROJECT
- Morena Baccarin and Ryan Michelle Bathe will play the lead role in the drama pilot written by Jake Coburn and Nick Wootton. Baccarin previously starred for three seasons in Showtime's Homeland and four seasons in FOX's Gotham. Bathe currently stars in BET+'s First Wives Club, which returns for its second season later this year.
- Baccarin will play Elena Federova, a recently captured international arms dealer and brilliant criminal mastermind who orchestrates a number of coordinated bank heists throughout New York City for a mysterious purpose.
- Bathe will play Val Fitzgerald, the principled, relentless and socially outcast FBI agent who will stop at nothing to foil Elena's ambitious plan.
