Peacock Reveals Premiere Date for Limited Series 'Dr. Death' Starring Joshua Jackson, Christian Slater and Alec Baldwin

Peacock has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original limited series Dr. Death starring Joshua Jackson, Christian Slater and Alec Baldwin.

All 8 episodes of the limited series will be available on Thursday, July 15.

Based on Wondery's hit podcast, the series is inspired by the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Jackson), a rising star in the Dallas medical community. Young, charismatic and ostensibly brilliant, Dr. Duntsch was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice when everything suddenly changed. Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead. As victims piled up, two fellow physicians, neurosurgeon Robert Henderson (Baldwin) and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby (Slater), set out to stop him. The series explores the twisted mind of Dr. Duntsch and the failures of the system designed to protect the most defenseless among us.

The series also stars Grace Gummer and AnnaSophia Robb.

Patrick Macmanus developed the series. He executive produces with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Taylor Latham, Hernan Lopez and Marshall Lewy. Universal Content Productions, Littleton Road Productions, Escape Artists and Wondery produce.
