During the series' Comic-Con at Home panel today, Showtime announced the premiere date for the upcoming revival season of its original drama series Dexter.
The 10-episode revival will premiere on Sunday, November 7 at 9/8c.
Set 10 years after Dexter Morgan went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the new season finds him living under an assumed name in the small town of Iron Lake, New York. Dexter may be embracing his new life, but in the wake of unexpected events in this close-knit community, his Dark Passenger beckons.
The new season stars Michael C. Hall, Julia Jones, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, David Magidoff, Jack Alcott and Clancy Brown.
Moreover, Jennifer Carpenter and John Lithgow will reprise their roles from the original series as guest stars even though their characters died.
Clyde Phillips returns as showrunner after serving in the role for the first four seasons of the drama's original run. He executive produces with Hall, John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Marcos Siega, Bill Carraro and Scott Reynolds.
