NETFLIX's CABINET OF CURIOSITIES
- The streamer has today announced the cast, writers and directors to be featured in the upcoming episodic anthology series curated by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water).
- Essie Davis (The Babadook), Andrew Lincoln (The Walking Dead) and Hannah Galway (Sex/Life) will star in an episode written and directed by Jennifer Kent (based on an original story by del Toro).
- F. Murray Abraham (Mythic Quest), Glynn Turman (Fargo) and Luke Roberts (Ransom) will star in an episode written by David S. Goyer (based on a short story by Michael Shea) and directed by David Prior.
- Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen), Elpidia Carrillo (Predator), Demetrius Grosse (Fear the Walking Dead) and Sebastian Roché (The Man in the High Castle) will star in an episode written by Regina Corrado (based on an original story by del Toro) and directed by Guillermo Navarro.
- Crispin Glover (American Gods) and Ben Barnes (Shadow and Bone) will star in an episode written by Lee Patterson (based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft) and directed by Keith Thomas.
- Peter Weller (Robocop) will star in an episode written by Aaron Stewart-Ahn and Panos Cosmatos, who will also direct.
- David Hewlett (The Shape of Water) will star in an episode written and directed by Vincenzo Natali (based on a short story by Henry Kuttner).
- Mika Watkins will write an episode (based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft), which will be directed by Catherine Hardwicke. The cast will be announced at a later date.
- Haley Z. Boston will write an episode (based on a short story by Emily Carroll), which will be directed by Ana Lily Amirpour. The cast will be announced at a later date.
AMC's DARK WINDS
- Rainn Wilson has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Zahn McClarnon, Kiowa Gordon and Noah Emmerich. He previously starred for nine seasons in NBC's The Office. He recently starred in Amazon's one-season drama Utopia and recurred on CBS' Mom.
- He will play Devoted Dan, a pious missionary who relies on his divine faith to recruit followers to the gates of his used car lot. He is also a degenerate and practitioner of every biblical sin he decries.
PARAMOUNT+'s THE OFFER
- Joseph Russo will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Miles Teller and Matthew Goode. He previously appeared in the films Jersey Boys and The Irishman.
- He will play Joe Gallo, the wide-eyed, crazy and hopped up member of the Colombo family who has caused problems for everyone in the underworld. Only a day out of prison, Joe sees no reason to slow down or lie low. He has every intention of burning his rivals' empires to the ground.
PEACOCK's QUEER AS FOLK
- Ryan O'Connell has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama reboot starring Jesse James Keitel. He has also joined the series as a writer and co-executive producer. He previously created and starred in Netflix's Special, which ran for two seasons.
- He will play a pop culture nerd with cerebral palsy who is more than ready for some independence.
PARAMOUNT+'s STAR TREK: PICARD
- Annie Wersching has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She previously starred for two seasons in FOX's 24, one season in Amazon's Bosch and three seasons in Hulu's Runaways. She has also recurred on The CW's The Vampire Diaries, NBC's Timeless and ABC's The Rookie.
- She will play the Borg Queen.
