BET+ has today renewed its original comedy series The Ms. Pat Show for a second season. The renewal comes three weeks after the first season was released and two days after Netflix announced a stand-up special from the comedian.
The comedy stars Patricia "Ms. Pat" Williams, J. Bernard Calloway, Tami Roman, Brittany Inge, Vince Swann, Briyana Guadalupe and Theodore Barnes.
Ms. Pat created the comedy with Jordan E. Cooper. They executive produce with Lee Daniels, Brian Grazer, Anthony Hill, Samie Kim Falvey, Jon Radler, Marc Velez and Pam Williams. Lee Daniels Entertainment and Imagine Television Studios produce.
"I heard y'all was looking for season two, so here we go," said Ms. Pat. "I can't wait for you to see what Jordan and I do this time! And I can't thank Lee Daniels, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard enough for supporting this project."
