The hyper-topical series will look at how national politics causes wild small-town drama in the Natty Light-chugging, grocery store parking lot-fighting, public urinating town of Fairview through the lens of its sloppy party girl turned pragmatic mayor Kelly Sampson.
RJ Fried (Our Cartoon President, Tooning Out the News) created the series. He will executive produce with Colbert, Chris Licht, Tim Luecke, Kim Gable, Mike Leech, Zach Smilovitz and Grant Gish. Sachi Ezura is a co-executive producer, with Michael Stanger as a supervising producer. CBS Studios and MTV Entertainment Studios will produce.
