The series will tell the story of Marie-Laure, a blind teenager, and Werner, a German soldier, whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.
Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) is writing the adaptation, with Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Free Guy) directing all four episodes. They will executive produce with Dan Levine and Josh Barry. 21 Laps Entertainment will produce.
