The 8-episode first season will debut on Thursday, January 13.
The series will explore the origins of Peacemaker (Cena) - a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.
In addition to Cena, the cast includes Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Chukwudi Iwuiji and Robert Patrick.
James Gunn wrote all eight episodes and directed five, including the premiere. He executive produces with Peter Safran and Matt Miller. Warner Bros. Television, Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company produce.
