HULU's HOW I MET YOUR FATHER
- Kim Cattrall has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy starring Hilary Duff. She previously starred for six seasons in HBO's Sex and the City as well as its two feature film followups. Recently, she starred in the first season of CBS All Access' Tell Me a Story and in FOX's one-season drama Filthy Rich.
- She will play the future version of Sophie (Duff), who is telling her son the story of how she met his father. Her story will transport audiences back to the year 2021 where she and her close-knit group of friends - Jesse (Chris Lowell), Valentina (Francia Raisa), Charlie (Tom Ainsley), Ellen (Tien Tran) and Sid (Suraj Sharma) - are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
HBO MAX's MADE FOR LOVE
- Sarunas J. Jackson has been promoted to series regular for the comedy's upcoming second season - after previously guest starring in the first season. Furthermore, Chris Diamantopoulos and Angela Lin have been cast in recurring roles, while Paula Abdul will guest star.
- Jackson (Games People Play, Good Trouble) plays Jay, a co-worker of Hazel's (Cristin Milioti) from the Twin Sands bowling alley.
- Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley, True Story) will play Hank Walsh, a debonair and zealous FBI agent tasked with uncovering the hidden truths of The Hub.
- Lin (Little America, Rebel) will play Dr. Hau, a medical research doctor who works in The Hub and is responsible for overseeing Herbert's (Ray Romano) cancer treatment.
- Abdul (American Idol, The Masked Dancer) will play Anydoors, an AI hologram assistant.
