HBO MAX's DEAD BOY DETECTIVES
- George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri, Kassius Nelson, Alexander Calvert, Briana Cuoco, Jenn Lyon, Yuyu Kitamura and Ruth Connell and will star in the drama pilot written by Steve Yockey. Rexstew is a recent graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Revri starred for two seasons in Disney's The Lodge. Nelson starred in the Netflix limited series White Lines. Calvert starred for three seasons in The CW's Supernatural. Cuoco recurred on HBO Max's The Flight Attendant. Lyon currently stars in TNT's Claws, which returns for its fourth and final season next month. Kitamura appeared in the short films Breaking the Silence and Invited In. Connell has recurred on The CW's Supernatural and guest starred on HBO Max's Doom Patrol.
- Rexstrew and Revri will play Edwin Paine and Charles Rowland, respectively, the Dead Boy Detectives. They decided not to enter the afterlife in order to stay on Earth and investigate crimes involving the supernatural.
- Nelson will play Crystal Palace, a living psychic medium.
- Calvert will play Thomas the Cat King.
- Cuoco will play Jenny, a mildly punk butcher and a confidant of Crystal Palace.
- Lyon will play Esther, a witch obsessed with youth and immortality.
- Kitamura will play Niko, a boarding school student intent on joining the Dead Boy Detectives agency and who now lives above Jenny's butcher shop.
- Connell will play the Night Nurse, a demon who controls the flow of souls in afterlife.
