Hulu has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series How I Met Your Father starring Hilary Duff (Younger, Lizzie McGuire).
The 10-episode first season will launch on Tuesday, January 18 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Tuesday.
In the near future, Sophie (Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
In addition to Duff, the comedy stars Chris Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran and Suraj Sharma.
Recurring guest stars include Kim Cattrall, Daniel Augustin, Ashley Reyes and Josh Peck.
Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger created the comedy. They executive produce with Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, Adam Londy and director Pam Fryman. 20th Television produces.
