NETFLIX's AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER
  • Elizabeth Yu, Maria Zhang, Tamlyn Tomita, Yvonne Chapman and Casey Camp-Horinek have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Gordon Cormier. Yu and Zhang are relative newcomers. Tomita previously starred for one season in Epix's Berlin Station and two seasons in ABC's The Good Doctor. Chapman currently stars in The CW's Kung Fu, which returns for its second season in March 2022. Camp-Horinek has guest starred on Peacock's Rutherford Falls and FX's Reservation Dogs.
  • Yu will play Azula, the intensely driven princess of the Fire Nation. A firebending prodigy and relentless perfectionist, she will stop at nothing to secure her position as the heir to the throne.
  • Zhang will play Suki, the intimidating leader of the Kyoshi Warriors, an elite female fighting force dedicated to protecting their community and upholding the ideals of their namesake, Avatar Kyoshi.
  • Tomita will play Yukari, Suki's mother and the fiercely protective mayor of her small village on Kyoshi Island.
  • Chapman will play Avatar Kyoshi, a legendary warrior revered for her bravery, fearsome fighting skills and uncompromising dedication to the cause of justice.
  • Camp-Horinek will play Gran Gran, Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka's (Ian Ousley) grandmother and the compassionate and wise matriarch of the Southern Water Tribe.
NBC's LAW & ORDER
  • Sam Waterston has closed a deal to return for the drama's upcoming revival for its 21st season. As with fellow Law & Order alum Anthony Anderson, the actor has signed a one-year deal for the series. Waterston currently stars in Netflix's Grace and Frankie, which returns for its seventh and final season next year. He also stars in Hulu's upcoming limited series The Dropout starring Amanda Seyfried.
  • He plays District Attorney Jack McCoy. Waterston previously played the character in 16 seasons of the drama's original series run. He most recently reprised the role in a 2018 episode of Law & Order: SVU - titled "The Undiscovered Country."
APPLE TV+'s THE BIG DOOR PRIZE
  • Gabrielle Dennis, Damon Gupton, Josh Segarra and Sammy Fourlas will co-star on the upcoming comedy starring Chris O'Dowd. Dennis currently stars in HBO's A Black Lady Sketch Show and Netflix's The Upshaws, which have both been renewed for additional seasons. Gupton starred for three seasons in The CW's Black Lightning. Segarra recurs on HBO Max's The Other Two and stars in Disney+'s upcoming drama She-Hulk. Fourlas will make his acting debut with the comedy.
  • Dennis will play Cass, who has been with Dusty (O'Dowd) since high school and has maintained a veneer of contentedness in her quiet domestic life, but her pleasant persona is about to crack and fissure in an earthquake of self-discovery.
  • Gupton will play Father Rueben, the trusted school chaplain at Deerfield High. He is relied upon for emotional and spiritual guidance, not only by Deerfield's students but also the staff. He privately is going through his own crisis.
  • Segarra will play Giorgio, a former hockey player, a local celebrity, the owner of a combination Italian restaurant and sports center and widely recognized as Deerfield's most eligible bachelor.
  • Fourlas will play Jacob, a sweet-natured, sensitive soul who works at the local general store and is struggling after the death of his identical twin brother.
PARAMOUNT+'s PLAYERS
  • Alexa Mansour has been cast on the upcoming comedy created by Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda. She recently starred for two seasons in AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond and recurred on AppleTV+'s Home Before Dark.
  • She will play Emma, a popular streamer who has a true love and appreciation for the game as well as its players.
THE CW's ALL AMERICAN: HOMECOMING
  • Mitchell Edwards will reprise his All American role as a series regular on the upcoming spinoff starring Geffri Maya and Peyton Alex Smith. Furthermore, Rhoyle Ivy King has landed a recurring role on the first season. Edwards has recurred on the original series - appearing in 12 episodes to date. King recently recurred on HBO Max's The Sex Lives of College Girls.
  • Edwards plays Cam Watkins, a student at Bringston University. He's the same charming, yet extremely cocky pain in the butt we loved to hate on, but a shocking turn of fate early in the season will have both us and Cam himself reevaluating who he really is inside and out.
  • King will play Nathaniel, the non-binary, gender-fluid personification of fly AF. Equally masculine and feminine, Nate brings another kind of hustle to Bringston that isn't found on a field or court - she's a thriving stylist and loyal above all. Her friends are her world, particularly her besties Simone (Maya) and Keisha (Netta Walker).
