AppleTV+ has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Severance starring Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation, Big Little Lies) and Patricia Arquette (Escape at Dannemora, Boyhood).
The 9-episode season will launch on Friday, February 18 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Friday.
Mark Scout (Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in "work-life balance" is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work... and of himself.
In addition to Scott and Arquette, the drama also stars John Turturro, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus and Christopher Walken.
Dan Erickson created the drama. He executive produces with Scott, Arquette, Mark Friedman, Chris Black, John Cameron, Andrew Colville, Nicky Weinstock, Jackie Cohn and director Ben Stiller. Endeavor Content and Red Hour Productions produce.
