Hulu Orders 8 Episodes of Drama 'Saint X' Based on the Novel by Alexis Schaitkin

Hulu has today given a series order to the original drama series Saint X based on the novel by Alexis Schaitkin. The first season will produce eight episodes.

The psychological drama, told in multiple timelines and perspectives, will explore and upend the girl-gone-missing genre. A young woman's mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.

Leila Gerstein (Hart of Dixie) developed the drama, with Dee Rees (Mudbount) set to direct. They will executive produce with Schaitkin and Stephen Williams. ABC Signature, Anonymous Content and DreamCrew Entertainment will produce.
