In addition to Jackson, the limited series stars Dominique Fishback, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Walton Goggins and Omar Miller.
Mosley adapted his novel and serves as showrunner for the limited series. He executive produces alongside Jackson, Diane Houslin, Ramin Bahrani, Eli Selden, David Levine and LaTanya Richardson Jackson. Apple Studios and Anonymous Content produce.
