Casting News - Walton Goggins to Star in 'Fallout'; 'Tales of the Walking Dead' Adds Olivia Munn; Plus 4 More Updates!

Casting News - February 18, 2022

Amazon's Fallout; AMC's Tales of the Walking Dead; CBS' The Neighborhood; FOX's 9-1-1; HBO Max's The Girls on the Bus; and Peacock's The Missing.

AMC's TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD
  • Olivia Munn, Danny Ramirez, Loan Chabanol, Embeth Davidtz, Jessie T. Usher and Gage Munroe will appear in the upcoming episodic anthology spinoff of The Walking Dead. Munn previously starred for three seasons in HBO's The Newsroom, one season in History's Six and one season in Starz's The Rook. Ramirez starred in the Marvel drama The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Chabanol appeared in the films Fading Gigolo and The Transporter Refueled. Davidtz recurred on AMC's Mad Men, Showtime's Ray Donovan and AppleTV+'s The Morning Show. Usher currently stars in Amazon's The Boys, which returns for its third season in June. Munroe guest starred on Syfy's Dark Matter, ABC's Designated Survivor and Netflix's Frontier.
  • No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
PEACOCK's THE MISSING
  • Karen Robinson and Michael Mosley will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Jeff Wilbusch and Juliana Canfield. Robinson previously starred for six seasons in Pop's Schitt's Creek and next stars in Netflix's upcoming limited series Echoes. Mosley starred in the fourth season of USA's The Sinner and next recurs on Hulu's upcoming limited series The Girl From Plainville.
  • Robinson will play Captain Helen Davies, the woman in charge, a tough, no-nonsense, sometimes brusque boss who possesses a hard-won understanding of human nature, her job and how to survive the NYPD's bureaucracy. She has a gift for understanding and working with complex personalities like Avraham (Wilbusch) - she demands the best from them and rewards it with fierce loyalty.
  • Mosley will play Detective Earl Malzone, a veteran cop whose cutting sense of humor masks a fear that his best days are behind him (and weren't that great to begin with). A solid family man with a wife and kids, he is dogged rather than brilliant, a good but not great investigator whose sardonic personality and teasing of Avraham masks just how much he loves his job and the people he works with.
FOX's 9-1-1
  • Bryce Durfee has landed a recurring role on the drama's fifth season. He previously guest starred on MTV's Faking It, Freeform's Baby Daddy, YouTube's Liza on Demand and CBS' Man With a Plan.
  • He will play Jonah Greenway, a new paramedic on the 118 filling in for Chimney (Kenneth Choi) who's on leave searching for a missing Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt). Jonah is bright, observant and has a short tolerance for BS, and has a hard time getting his new partner Hen (Aisha Hinds) to accept him.
AMAZON's FALLOUT
  • Walton Goggins has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama based on the video game franchise. He previously starred for seven seasons in FX's The Shield, six seasons in FX's Justified, two seasons in HBO's Vice Principals and two seasons in CBS' The Unicorn. He currently stars in HBO's The Righteous Gemstones, which has been renewed for a third season.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
CBS' THE NEIGHBORHOOD
  • Tracy Morgan will guest star in an upcoming episode of the comedy's fourth season. He previously starred for seven seasons in NBC's Saturday Night Live and seven seasons in NBC's 30 Rock. He currently stars in TBS' The Last O.G., which finished airing its fourth season in December.
  • He will play Curtis Butler, Calvin's (Cedric the Entertainer) frenetic younger brother. He is a super lottery winner with a deep love of spending money, which includes showering people with hugely expensive gifts and experiences.
HBO MAX's THE GIRLS ON THE BUS
  • Melissa Benoist is in negotiations to star in and produce the upcoming drama created by Julie Plec and Amy Chozick. She previously starred for six seasons in The CW's Supergirl - which was developed by Greg Berlanti, who executive produces the new drama.
  • The drama centers on four female journalists - one of whom to be played by Benoist - who follow every move of a parade of flawed presidential candidates while finding friendship, love and scandal along the way.
