APPLE TV+'s MANHUNT
- Anthony Boyle and Lovie Simone will star opposite Tobias Menzies in the upcoming limited series created by Monica Beletsky. Boyle previously starred in the HBO limited series The Plot Against America and next stars in AppleTV+'s upcoming limited series Masters of the Air. Simone currently stars in Starz's Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which returns for its second season later this year.
- Boyle will play John Wilkes Booth, the man who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln.
- Simone will play Mary Simms, a former slave of the doctor who treated Booth's injury and gave him safe harbor after his crime.
DISNEY+'s IRONHEART
- Lyric Ross have joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel drama starring Dominique Thorne and Anthony Ramos. She currently stars in NBC's This Is Us, which is now airing its sixth and final season.
- She will play the best friend of Riri Williams (Thorne).
HULU's WASHINGTON BLACK
- Charles Dance has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming limited series starring Sterling K. Brown. He previously starred for four seasons in HBO's Game of Thrones and two seasons in Netflix's The Crown. He will next be seen in Netflix's upcoming drama The Sandman and Starz's upcoming drama The Serpent Queen.
- He will play James Wilde, the father of Erasmus and Titch Wilde (Tom Ellis), and the patriarch of a sugar plantation in 19th century Barbados. An esteemed scientist and inventor, he looms over the whole story, bearing down with the enormous weight of patriarchy, empire and duty. He fights to give himself permission to love the way he must while reckoning with his failings as a father.
