THE CW's WALKER: INDEPENDENCE
- Justin Johnson Cortez has been cast as a series regular on the drama pilot written by Seamus Fahey. He previously guest starred on Netflix's Lucifer, ABC's Splitting Up Together and FOX's 9-1-1: Lone Star.
- He will play Calian, a member of an Indigenous scouting party outside Independence, Texas. He speaks fluent English and has mixed feelings about the influx of the white settlers out west. He is curious to their innovations, their music, their culture but remains wary about losing his tribal lands. After spotting Abby half-dead in the brush, he saves her and takes her to the outskirts of Independence - he knows better than to walk into town, escorting a white woman.
