Hulu has today delayed the premiere date for the upcoming third season of the original dramedy series The Orville - the first to air on the streaming platform.
The 11-episode third season - subtitled New Horizons - will now launch Thursday, June 2 with new episodes being released weekly. The series was originally set to debut March 10 - three years after it last aired an original episode on FOX.
The new season finds the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continuing their mission of exploration, as they navigate both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.
The cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J. Lee, Mark Jackson, Chad L. Coleman, Jessica Szohr and Anne Winters.
MacFarlane created the series. He executive produces with Brannon Braga, David A. Goodman, Jon Cassar, Jason Clark and Howard Griffith. 20th Television and Fuzzy Door Productions produce.
