AppleTV+ has today given a series order to the original dark comedy series Bad Sisters created by and starring Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe, Shining Vale). The first season will produce 10 episodes, which will debut later this year.
A delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller, the series will follow the lives of the Garvey sisters bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another.
In addition to Horgan, the cast includes Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, Eve Hewson, Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab and Saise Quinn.
Horgan co-created the series with Brett Baer and Dave Finkel. They will executive produce with Faye Dorn, Clelia Mountford, Malin-Sarah Gozin, Bert Hamelinck and Michel Sagol. ABC Signature and Merman will produce.
