AMAZON's ANANSI BOYS
- CCH Pounder, Jason Watkins, Fiona Shaw, L. Scott Caldwell, Joy Richardson and Lachele Carl have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Malachi Kirby and Delroy Lindo. Pounder previously starred for seven seasons in FX's The Shield and seven seasons in CBS' NCIS: New Orleans. Watkins starred in the third season of Netflix's The Crown. Shaw currently stars in BBC America's Killing Eve, which is now airing its fourth and final season. Caldwell recently recurred on CBS' All Rise, HBO's Insecure and FOX's Our Kind of People. Richardson appeared in the "Red, White and Blue" episode of Amazon's Small Axe. Carl recurred on BBC America's Doctor Who.
- Pounder will play Mrs. Higgler, the matriarch of her clan and an old family friend of Charlie's (Kirby).
- Watkins will play Graham Coats. Shaw will play Maeve Livingstone.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters Caldwell, Richardson and Carl will be playing.
AMAZON's UNTITLED THE BOYS SPINOFF
- Chance Perdomo has been cast as a series regular on the spinoff of The Boys starring Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Reina Hardesty and Maddie Phillips. He previously starred for two seasons in Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which also starred Sinclair.
- He will play a young superhero. He replaces Shane Paul McGhie, who was originally cast but left the role following significant creative changes under new showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters.
AMC's MAYFAIR WITCHES
- Alexandra Daddario will play the lead role in the upcoming drama based on the novels by Anne Rice. She previously starred in the first season of Paramount+'s Why Women Kill and the first season of HBO's The White Lotus.
- She will play Rowan, a brilliant doctor who grapples with her fate as the heir to a family of powerful witches.
