- Gabriela Quezada has been cast in a potentially recurring role on the drama pilot starring Katherine McNamara and Matt Barr. She previously guest starred on ABC's The Goldbergs and FOX's 9-1-1.
- She will play Lucia Montero, the daughter of ranchers Francis and Anna Maria Montero and the older sister of Luis Montero. She has a problem: she's in love with Hoyt Rawlins (Barr). No matter what he does, with her or against anyone else, she is overwhelmed by romantic chemistry whenever he is in the room.

- Ravi Patel, Eric Edelstein and Johnny Jay Lee have joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Rich Sommer. Patel previously recurred on Netflix's Master of None, TBS' Wrecked and ABC's American Housewife. Edelstein recurred on NBC's Parks and Recreation, Showtime's Shameless and ABC's Fresh Off the Boat. Lee guest starred on CBS' NCIS: Los Angeles, Peacock's Rutherford Falls and FX's Snowfall.
- Patel will play Dale, an emotionally needy principal at a working-class Ohio high school.
- Edelstein will play Joy, a goodhearted single father who takes a job as a night janitor at his daughter's high school after the town auto factory shuts down.
- Lee will play Eli, a popular high school junior and Mennonite farm boy, who is also a favorite on his mom's Christian Instagram account.
