NBC's HUNGRY
- Ariel Winter will play the lead role in the comedy pilot written by Suzanne Martin. She previously starred for eleven seasons in ABC's Modern Family.
- The potential comedy follows a group of friends who belong to a food-issues group helping one another as they look for love, success and the perfect thing in the fridge that's going to make it all better.
- Winter replaces Demi Lovato, who was attached to play the starring role in the pilot for over a year. Lovato dropped out on Thursday due to a scheduling conflict. However, they will remain an executive producer on the pilot. Winter will now star opposite Valerie Bertinelli, Gabriel Ignlesias, Ryan McPartlin, Alex Brightman and Ashley D. Kelley.
