HULU's SAINT X
- Jayden Elijah has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Victoria Pedretti. He previously starred for three seasons in the British children's comedy Hank Zipzer.
- He will play Edwin, a handsome and magnetically charming employee at the island's resort who immediately captures Alison's (West Duchovny) attention. He harbors a healthy distrust of the rich white people he's paid to serve and dreams of one day leaving the island for New York.
AMAZON's ANANSI BOYS
- Whoopi Goldberg, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Emmanuel Ighodaro, Cecilia Noble, Ayanna Witter-Johnson and Don Gilet have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Malachi Kirby and Delroy Lindo. Goldberg is an EGOT winner who currently co-hosts ABC's The View and was recently seen on Paramount+'s Star Trek: Picard. Kae-Kazim starred for three seasons in Starz's Black Sails. Ighodaro starred for three seasons in Channel 4's Shameless. Noble starred in the Channel 5 drama The Teacher. Witter-Johnson is an English composer, singer, songwriter and cellist. Gilet appeared for six years in BBC One's EastEnders.
- Goldberg will play Bird Woman, the embodiment of birds. Not just beautiful stately birds in flight. Anyone who's had a close encounter with a seagull knows that some birds are more dangerous than others, and Bird Woman is the most dangerous of them all. Long ago Anansi (Lindo) did her wrong. Now might be her chance to turn the tables.
- Kae-Kazim will play Tiger. He's still angry with Anansi for stealing the stories, for making fun of him and for coming out on top. Tiger - the name of any Big Cat in the Caribbean - is a dangerous enemy to Anansi and all his bloodline.
- Ighodaro will play Lion. He's proud and noble and has no time for Anansi.
- Noble will play Elephant. She's old and wise, and hates Anansi.
- Witter-Johnson will play Snake. She's beautiful and deadly, and hates Anansi.
- Gilet will play Monkey. He's terrified of Anansi, keen on food - particularly fruit - and has the attention span of, well, a monkey.
AMAZON's MR. & MRS. SMITH
- Maya Erskine will play the co-lead opposite Donald Glover in the upcoming series based on the feature film of the same name. She co-created and starred in Hulu's PEN15, which ran for two seasons. She will next appear in Disney+'s upcoming drama Obi-Won Kenobi.
- No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing. She replaces Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the female lead in the series. Waller-Bridge was originally announced as star and co-creator opposite Glover, but left the project over creative differences.
HULU's IMMIGRANT
- Spencer Boldman has booked a recurring role on the upcoming limited series starring Kumail Nanjiani. He previously starred for four seasons in Disney XD's Lab Rats.
- He will play Lance McCrae, the "ultimate specimen" and the hottest Chippendales dancer of them all. He is also the inspiration and star of choreographer Nick De Noia's (Murray Bartlett) greatest, most ambitious routine yet.
THE CW's DYNASTY
- Daphne Zuniga will reunite with her Melrose Place co-star Grant Show in a recurring role on the drama's fifth season. She previously starred for four seasons in the FOX drama. She recently staged another Melrose Place reunion with Josie Bissett and Laura Leighton in a first season episode of FOX's Fantasy Island.
- She will play Sonya Jackson, a successful, sultry contemporary to Blake Carrington (Show). She shakes things up after reuniting with her old friend and reminiscing about their college days. Sonya isn't afraid to mix business with pleasure, posing unexpected challenges for Blake.
