DISNEY+'s PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS
- Aryan Simhadri and Leah Sava Jeffries will star opposite Walker Scobell in the upcoming drama based on the series of novels. Simhadri recently starred in the Disney+ film Cheaper by the Dozen. Jeffries previously recurred on FOX's Empire and Rel.
- Simhadri will play Grover Underwood, a satyr, half boy and half goat, disguised as a 12-year-old boy. He cares deeply about others and will always choose what is best for them, sometimes at his own expense. Though cautious by nature, he'll always throw himself into a fight to protect his friends, especially his best friend Percy Jackson (Scobell).
- Jeffries will play Annabeth Chase, a true daughter of the Greek goddess Athena. She is a brilliant strategist with an active and curious mind. After having spent the last five years at Camp Half-Blood, she longs to test her mettle in the human world, of which she barely remembers. She trains Percy to survive the mythological world, and in turn, he helps her connect with her humanity.
STARZ's OUTLANDER
- Charles Vandervaart has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming seventh season. He currently stars in the Canadian children's show Holly Hobbie, which has been renewed for a fourth and fifth season.
- He will play William, Jamie's (Sam Heughan) biological son who is unaware of his parentage. Raised by his stepfather, Lord John Grey (David Berry), William - the ninth Earl of Ellesmere - arrives in Wilmington full of patriotic zeal and enthusiasm to join the British Army and help put an end to the escalating tensions in the American Colonies. On the surface, William is a courteous aristocrat but simmering under the surface is a Highlander's fire.
APPLE TV+'s THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME
- Aisha Tyler has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming limited series starring Jennifer Garner, Angourie Rice and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. She currently stars in FXX's Archer, which has been renewed for its thirteenth season, and hosts The CW's Whose Line Is It Anyway?, which is currently airing its eighteenth season. She previously starred for four seasons in CBS' Criminal Minds.
- She will play Jules, the childhood best friend of Hannah (Garner).
FX's THE STERLING AFFAIRS
- Ed O'Neill is set for the lead role in the upcoming limited series starring Laurence Fishburne and Jacki Weaver. He previously starred for eleven years in FOX's Married... With Children and eleven years in ABC's Modern Family.
- He will play Donald Sterling, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, whose notoriously racist behavior is brought to light amid the power struggle between his wife of 60-plus years, Shelly Sterling (Weaver), and his mistress, V. Stiviano.
APPLE TV+'s PLATONIC
- Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Carla Gallo and Andrew Lopez will co-star on the upcoming comedy starring Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen. Macfarlane previously starred for three seasons in ABC's Brothers & Sisters and five seasons in Syfy's Killjoys. Hale guest starred on FOX's Lethal Weapon, CBS' NCIS: Los Angeles and Showtime's Shameless. Gallo recurred for nine seasons in FOX's Bones. Lopez appeared in the 2018 film Blockers.
- Macfarlane will play Charlie, Sylvia's (Byrne) husband.
- Hale will play Andy, Will's (Rogen) business partner.
- Gallo will play Katie, Sylvia's best friend.
- Lopez will play Reggie, the main investor in Will's brewery.
NETFLIX's VIKINGS: VALHALLA
- Florian Munteanu has been added to the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. He currently stars in the Creed film franchise.
- He will play George Maniakes, a general of the Byzantine Empire who answers only to The Emir.
FX's JUSTIFIED: CITY PRIMEVAL
- Aunjanue Ellis, Boyd Holbrook, Adelaide Clemens, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Marin Ireland, Norbert Leo Butz, Victor Williams and Vivian Olyphant have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Timothy Olyphant - a sequel to FX's Justified. Ellis currently stars in AMC's 61st Street, which has been renewed for a second season. Holbrook starred for two seasons in Netflix's Narcos. Clemens currently stars in the FX limited series Under the Banner of Heaven. Curtis-Hall starred for two seasons in ABC's For the People. Ireland starred in FX's one-season drama Y: The Last Man. Butz recently starred in the Hulu limited series The Girl From Plainville. Williams recurred on Showtime's The Affair and CBS' Bull. Olyphant is the real-life daughter of Timothy Olyphant, who reprises his role from the original series.
- Holbrook will play Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent sociopath who's already slipped through the fingers of Detroit's finest once and wants to do so again.
- Olyphant will play Willa, Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) 14-year-old daughter.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters to be played by Ellis, Clemens, Curtis-Hall, Ireland, Butz and Williams.
