The high octane action comedy will tell the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.
Hurwitz, Schlossberg and Heald will executive produce with Dina Hillier. Sony Pictures Television and Counterbalance Entertainment will produce.
The series was originally picked up by TBS in 2019. In the years since, the project was unofficially dropped by the cable network. The move to Netflix comes after the success of Cobra Kai on the streaming platform after its move from YouTube.
