The series will follow Hampton Chambers (Oyelowo), a man recently released from prison who struggles to keep his criminal past at bay and win back his family, all while processing moments of divine intervention that seem to happen with increasing frequency.
Paul Hunter and Aeysha Carr created the series. Hunter will direct and co-executive produce. Hunter will executive produce with Oyelowo, Charles D. King, Marta Fernandez, Jelani Johnson and Ahmadou Seck. Ali Brown will also serve as a co-executive producer. Apple Studios, Macro Television Studios, Yoruba Saxon Productions and Ventureland will produce.
