During its Geeked Week presentation today, Netflix announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series The Midnight Club created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong.
All 10 episodes of the drama will be available on Friday, October 7.
Based on the novel series by Christopher Pike, the drama is set at Rotterdam Home, a hospice where a group of terminally ill teenagers go to die. In the manor with a mysterious history, the 8 members of the Midnight Club meet each night at midnight to tell sinister stories - and to look for signs of the supernatural from the beyond. One night they make a pact: the first of them to die would make every effort to contact the others from beyond the grave.
The drama stars Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, William Chris Sumpter, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, Sauriyan Sapkota, Heather Langenkamp, Zach Gilford, Matt Biedel, Samantha Sloyan, Iman Benson, Larsen Thompson, William B. Davis, Crystal Balint and Patricia Drake.
Flanagan, Fong and Pike executive produce with Trevor Macy and Julia Bicknell. Intrepid Pictures produces in association with Netflix.
