The new season - the show's ninth overall - will premiere on Thursday, August 4. The new season follows the release of the original film Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe on Paramount+ in June 2022. The streaming service has already picked up another season of the series revival.
Mike Judge created and voices the lead characters in the series. It originally aired for seven seasons on MTV from 1993 to 1997. The series was previously revived in 2011 for an eighth season on MTV.
Judge executive produces with Lew Morton, Michael Rotenberg, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Ben Kalina and Antonio Canobbio.
