Lisa Kudrow to Lead the Cast of Taika Waititi's Series Adaptation of 'Time Bandits' for AppleTV+

AppleTV+ has today given a series order to an adaptation of Terry Gilliam's 1981 feature film Time Bandits. The streamer has ordered 10 episodes for the drama, which is created by Taika Waititi (What We Do In the Shadows, Our Flag Means Death).

The series is a comedic journey through time and space with a ragtag group of thieves and their newest recruit: an 11-year-old history nerd.

The cast will include Lisa Kudrow, Kal-El Tuck, Charlyne Yi, Tadhg Murphy, Roger Jean Nsengiyumva, Rune Temte, Kiera Thompson and Rachel House.

Waititi will executive produce with Jemaine Clement, Iain Morris and Garrett Basch. Paramount Television Studios, AC Studios, MRC Television and Handmade Films will produce. Waititi will also direct the first two episodes.
