HBO Max has today renewed its original comedy series Rap Sh!t for a second season. The comedy will return with new episodes in 2023.
The comedy stars Aida Osman, KaMillion, Jonica Booth, Devon Terrell and RJ Cyler.
Issa Rae created the comedy, with Syreeta Singleton serving as showrunner. They executive produce with Montrel McKay, Jonathan Berry and Dave Becky. Hip-hop duo Yung Miami and JT of City Girls serve as co-executive producers, along with Kevin "Coach K" Lee, Pierre "P" Thomas and Sara Rastogi. Hoorae, District 8 Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment produce.
