HULU's KOALA MAN
- Jemaine Clement, Hugo Weaving, Miranda Otto, Jarrad Wright and Rachel House have joined the voice cast of the upcoming animated comedy created by and starring Michael Cusack. Clement co-created FX's What We Do In the Shadows, which has been renewed for its fifth and sixth seasons. Weaving currently stars in the Australian drama Love Me. Otto starred for one season in Showtime's Homeland and two seasons in Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Wright co-created and starred in the Australian animated comedy The Big Lez Show, which produced four seasons. House starred in the Netflix limited series Stateless.
- Clement will play Principal Bazwell, a nerdy and caring mentor to Liam (Cusack) and an ineffectual dandy of a man, always poised to support the students of North Dapto High with a helpful anecdote or encouraging song lyric.
- Weaving will play King Emudeus, the wise and noble monarch of Australia's emus.
- Otto will play Mindy, a sweet young koala cub with whom Kevin aka Koala Man (also Cusack) shares a deep and mysterious connection.
- Wright will play Spider, Kevin's bogan best friend and neighbor who's always down to help with a Koala Man mission, especially if someone needs to provide an illegal weapon to do so.
- House will play Janine and Louise. Janine is Vicky's (Sarah Snook) hard-partying friend and coworker at the school canteen. Louise is the proprietress of the bowling club who has a deep, and some would say inexplicable, attraction to Koala Man.
HBO MAX's VELMA
- Constance Wu, Sam Richardson, Glenn Howerton, Jane Lynch, Wanda Sykes, Russell Peters, Melissa Fumero, Stephen Root, Gary Cole, Ken Leung, Cherry Jones, Frank Welker, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Fortune Feimster, Yvonne Orji, Sarayu Blue, Nicole Byer, Ming-Na Wen, Shay Mitchell, Debby Ryan, Kulap Vilaysak and Karl-Anthony Towns will star in the upcoming animated comedy created by and starring Mindy Kaling.
- Wu (Fresh Off the Boat, Crazy Rich Asians) will play Daphne. Richardson (Veep, The Afterparty) will play Shaggy. Howerton (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, A.P. Bio) will play Fred.
- No details were announced about the characters the other cast additions will be playing.
NBC's THE BLACKLIST
- Anya Banerjee has been cast as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming tenth season. The acting newcomer is a recent graduate of the Columbia University MFA acting program.
- She will play Siya Malik, an active Intelligence Officer for the UK's Secret Intelligence Service, also known as MI6. She's the daughter of Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra) - a CIA agent and early member of the Reddington Task Force who was killed in the first season finale.
FX's SNOWFALL
- Tamara Taylor will appear in the drama's upcoming sixth and final season. She previously starred for eleven seasons in FOX's Bones and two seasons in NBC's Law & Order: Organized Crime.
- No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing.
