Freeform has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series The Watchful Eye as well as the return date for the fifth season of its original comedy series Grown-ish.
New drama The Watchful Eye will premiere on Monday, January 30 at 9/8c. with back-to-back episodes. New episodes will regularly air at 10/9c.
The series follows Elena Santos, a young woman with a complicated past, maneuvering her way into working as a live-in nanny for an affluent family in Manhattan. She quickly learns that everyone in the mysterious building has deadly secrets and ulterior motives. What they don't know, however, is that Elena has some shocking secrets of her own.
The drama stars Mariel Molino, Warren Christie, Amy Acker, Jon Ecker, Aliyah Royale, Lex Lumpkin, Henry Joseph Samiri and Kelly Bishop.
Julie Durk created the drama, with Emily Fox serving as showrunner. Fox executive produces with Ryan Seacrest, Nina Wass, Andrea Shay and director Jeffrey Reiner. Durk serves as a consultant. ABC Signature and Ryan Seacrest Productions produce.
The fifth season of Grown-ish returns with its second half on Wednesday, January 18 at 10:30/9:30c.
The comedy stars Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Trevor Jackson, Diggy Simmons and Daniella Perkins.
