Hulu has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Saint X starring Alycia Debnam-Carey.
The 8-episode first season will begin on Wednesday, April 26 with its first three episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Wednesday.
Based on the novel by Alexis Schaitkin, the series - which is told via multiple timelines - explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman's mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.
In addition to Debnam-Carey, the drama stars Josh Bonzie, West Duchovny, Jayden Elijah, Bre Francis, Kenlee Anaya Townsend, Betsy Brandt and Michael Park.
Leila Gerstein developed the drama. She executive produces with Schaitkin, Dee Rees, Stephen Williams, David Levine, Zack Hayden, Aubrey "Drake" Graham, Adel "Future" Nur, Jason Shrier and Steve Pearlman. ABC Signature, Anonymous Content and Dreamcrew Entertainment produce.
