Paramount+ Shares Premiere Date for New Drama 'School Spirits' Starring Peyton List and Milo Manheim

During the streamer's presentation today at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, Paramount+ announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series School Spirits starring Peyton List and Milo Manheim.

The 8-episode first season will premiere on Thursday, March 9 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Thursday.

Based on the upcoming graphic novel by Nate & Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen, the drama centers around Maddie (List), a teen girl stuck in the afterlife investigating her mysterious disappearance. Maddie goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to high school in the afterlife, but the closer she gets to uncovering the truth, the more secrets and lies she discovers.

In addition to List and Manheim, the drama stars Kristian Flores, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese and Rainbow Wedell.

Recurring guest stars include Josh Zuckerman and Maria Dizzia.

Nate and Megan Trinrud developed the drama, with Oliver Goldstick serving as showrunner. They executive produce with director Max Winkler. Awesomeness Live-Action Studios produces.
