APPLE TV+'s METROPOLIS
- Briana Middleton has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama developed by Sam Esmail based on the 1927 feature film. She currently stars in the film Sharper, which was released in select theaters last week and will be available to stream on AppleTV+ starting February 17.
- She will play Finnie Polito, a new character who didn't appear in the film nor the 1925 novel it was based on.
PARAMOUNT+'s BASS REEVES
- Forrest Goodluck and Lauren E. Banks have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring David Oyelowo. Goodluck previously starred in The CW's one-season drama The Republic of Sarah and in Spectrum's one-season drama Panhandle. Banks starred for three seasons in Showtime's City on a Hill.
- Goodluck will play Billy Crow, a young Cherokee man with an affinity for dime store books and gaudy style.
- Banks will play Jennie, the strong and fiercely loyal wife of Bass Reeves (Oyelowo).
