NETFLIX's AGENT ELVIS
- Matthew McConaughey will voice the lead role in the upcoming animated comedy series created by Priscilla Presley, John Eddie, Mike Arnold and John Eddie. He won an Academy Award in 2014 for his performance in the film Dallas Buyers Club. He also received two Emmy Award nominations for acting in and producing the first season of HBO's True Detective.
- He will play Elvis Presley, who trades in his jumpsuit for a jetpack when he is covertly inducted into a secret government spy program to battle the dark forces that threaten the country he loves - all while holding down his day job as the King of Rock and Roll.
PEACOCK's IN THE KNOW
- Caitlin Reilly, Charlie Bushnell, J. Smith-Cameron and Carl Tart have joined the cast of the upcoming animated comedy created by and starring Mike Judge and Zach Woods. Reilly previously recurred on AppleTV+'s Loot and HBO Max's Hacks. Bushnell starred for two seasons in Disney+'s Diary of a Future President. Smith-Cameron currently stars in HBO's Succession, which returns for its fourth season next month. Tart currently stars in NBC's Grand Crew, which returns for its second season next month.
- Reilly will play Fabian, the researcher and fact checker.
- Bushnell will play Chase, the college intern.
- Smith-Cameron will play Barb, co-executive producer of "In the Know."
- Tart will play Carl, the sound engineer.
ABC's ABBOTT ELEMENTARY
- Ayo Edebiri has landed a recurring role on the comedy's second season. She currently stars in FX's The Bear, which has been renewed for a second season. She also served as a writer on Netflix's Big Mouth, AppleTV+'s Dickinson and FX's What We Do In the Shadows.
- She will play Ayesha Teagues, Janine's (Quinta Brunson) sister. She will first appear in the February 8 episode "Valentine's Day" via FaceTime before returning for a larger storyline later in the season.
