APPLE TV+'s PRESUMED INNOCENT
- Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard and O-T Fagbenle have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Negga. Reinsve previously starred in the film The Worst Person in the World. Sarsgaard previously starred in the Hulu limited series The Looming Tower and Dopesick. Notably, Sarsgaard is also Gyllenhaal's brother-in-law. Fagbenle currently stars in Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale, which has been renewed for a sixth and final season.
- Reinsve will play Carolyn Polhemus, a driven and enigmatic Chicago prosecutor. She is having an affair with her married boss, when her life is cut short as she becomes the victim of a gruesome murder.
- Sarsgaard will play Tommy Molto, the Chief Deputy District Attorney with a huge chip on his shoulder. He's a bulldog in the courtroom and an insecure and lonely man outside of it. His only focus in life is to convict Rusty Sabich (Gyllenhaal) of murder.
- Fagbenle will play Nico Della Guardia, a slick, ambitious politician who will do whatever he needs to get a conviction when one of his Deputy District Attorneys is murdered. He's not afraid to use the tragedy for political gain.
STARZ's THE VENERY OF SAMANTHA BIRD
- Henry Czerny and Doug Savant have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Katherine Langford and Finn Jones. Czerny previously starred for three seasons in ABC's Revenge and in the HBO limited series Sharp Objects. Savant starred for five seasons in FOX's Melrose Place and eight seasons in ABC's Desperate Housewives.
- Czerny will play Theodore "Teddy" Bird, Samantha's (Langford) father, a former artist and teacher. He moves to Little Yorn with his wife, Nan (Brenda Strong), reuniting with their longtime friends, Al and Carol Minot (Embeth Davidtz).
- Savant will play Al Minot, a sharp businessman who is deeply invested in maintaining the town of Little Yorn as it has been for generations.
