ABC's UNTITLED DREW GODDARD PROJECT
- Kaitlin Olson will star in and produce the drama pilot written by Drew Goddard. She currently stars in FXX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which is currently in production on its 16th season and has been renewed through its 18th season. She also received an Emmy Award nomination last year for her guest performance in HBO Max's Hacks.
- She will play Morgan, a chaotic, hand-to-mouth existence in spite of (or because of) her IQ of 160. Assertive, fearless and possessed with a serious anti-authority streak, she is able to spot details that others ignore as the white noise of life.
CBS NEW PILOT ORDER
- JUMPSTART (Comedy, Multi-Camera) - Based on the long-running comic strip by Robb Armstrong. Written by Wayne Conley (The Best Man: The Final Chapters). Executive produced by Conley, Aaron Kaplan, Melanie Frankel, Wendy Trilling and Bridget McMell. Co-executive produced by Armstrong. Produced by CBS Studios, Kapital Entertainment, Trill Television and Andrews McMeel Entertainment. Logline: Set in Philadelphia, Joe and Marcy are young, hip, urban parents with old school values who are willing to sacrifice for their kids and have some laughs while doing it.
ABC's THE HURT UNIT
- Michelle Ortiz has landed a series regular role on the drama pilot starring Ben McKenzie. She previously starred in the first season of Hulu's This Fool and will return as a recurring guest star in its second season. She also guest starred on AppleTV+'s Mr. Corman, CBS' B Positive and NBC's Lopez vs. Lopez.
- She will play Ruth, a trauma nurse on the Hurt Unit, helping Dr. Danny Marsh (McKenzie) perform surgeries in the most dangerous situations imaginable. A veteran nurse who has seen it all, Ruth combines a bone-dry wit with the ability to remain unfazed under pressure. If Danny is the leader of the team, then Ruth is the glue.
