HBO has today announced that the upcoming fourth season of its original comedy series Barry will be its last. The premium cable network has also revealed the premiere date for the final season.
The 8-episode fourth and final season will premiere on Sunday, April 16 at 10/9c. with back-to-back episodes. New episodes will debut weekly every Sunday at 10/9c., leading up to the series finale on May 28.
In the final season, Gene Cousineau is hailed as a hero as Barry's arrest has shocking consequences. It's all been leading up to this - the explosive and hilarious final chapter of Barry.
The dark comedy stars Bill Hader, Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan and Henry Winkler.
Recurring guest stars include Robert Wisdom, Michael Irby, Fred Melamed, Andrew Leeds, Patrick Fischler and Jessy Hodges.
Hader co-created the comedy with Alec Berg. They executive produce with Aida Rodgers and Liz Sarnoff. Hader directs all 8 episodes of the final season.
